Prof. Dr. Florin Bîrsășteanu is a radiology and medical imaging primary care physician and a Doctor of Medicine, specializing in MRI, CT and senology.
The founder of the Dr. Bîrsășteanu Radio Imaging Center in Timișoara, he joined REGINA MARIA in 2019, following the acquisition of the Center. At present, he works as medical director of the Imaging Division.
Specialising in Orthopedics, throughout his career Prof. Dr. Florin Bîrsășteanu has performed numerous imaging investigations in areas such as neuroradiology, intervention and musculoskeletal radiology.
His passion for Imaging and Radiology has prompted Prof. Dr. Florin Bîrsășteanu to take part in numerous exchanges and scientific events. He published 104 scientific works in domestic and international publications. He is also an associate professor at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Timișoara.
Since 2007, he has been the president of the Romanian Society for Musculoskeletal Imaging and a member of expert societies in Romania.
